Jay spent most of his early life in selling roles and then turned to general management. He now helps others to improve their skills. An experienced Director, leader and manager, Jay has been successfully coaching Chief Executives, Directors and Managers in the Public and Private sectors for over twelve years.
Jay adopts an action-learning style of coaching which has a business focus. Every programme is individually constructed bearing in mind the needs of the individual being coached. Special programmes are put together for those facing a career transition. Coaching programmes may include data gathering, profiling and 360 information. Jay has considerable experience of formulating business strategies, developing and managing people, converting setbacks into opportunities and, of course, coaching others to achieve these things whilst having a full and rewarding life.
He has coached the UK Businesswoman of the Year, a winner of the Company of the Year Award and Queen’s Award winners.

- Joint Owner of Midlands Leadership Limited (www.midlandsleadership.co.uk) which organises two groups of business leaders and the Midlands Sales Academy which meet six times a year to learn and help each other. Colin Perry and I operate as Chairmen of the groups and Coach and Mentor many of the members.

General Biography
Ford Motor Company, Leyland Trucks, Leyland Bus, JCB, Lansing and Bonas Machine Company were Jay’s main employers. With the exception of Ford, he sat on Boards at all of these employers and chaired several companies including five overseas subsidiaries for Lansing.
